The Adaptive Leadership Kanyama sub district parents team met mothers (single mothers and teenage mothers) from Chibolya community in Lusaka recently, where they discussed on parents-adolescents communication.

During the discussion, parents outlined that inadequate Communication between parents and adolescents has contributed to teenage pregnancy, high Sexual Transmitted Infections and HIV infections.

The parents also added that stubbornness from both the girls and boys who chose not to follow their guidance has had a negative effect on the lives of many adolescents.
